Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data. Your work email (your sign-in identity), display name, and the organisations you belong to with your roles in them.
• Service data. The projects, sessions, skills, files, and app source you create or upload through Foundational OS, and the apps you publish.
• Connector grants. The tokens and approvals you authorise so Builder Agents can act on connected services (such as Google, GitHub, Slack, or Linear) on your behalf.
• Operational data. Sign-in events, Computer heartbeats, diagnostics, and usage telemetry needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

• Authenticate you with email magic links, optional password, or Google sign-in.
• Run the Console: build, deploy, and host your apps; operate agents, sessions, and Computers.
• Perform the actions you approve through connected services.
• Secure the platform, debug failures, and improve the product.

Where data lives

Foundational OS runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, KV, R2, Access) for the control plane and published apps on foundational.builders, and on Hetzner for issued Computers. Services you connect are governed by their own privacy policies once data reaches them.

Who we share it with

• Infrastructure providers that run the service (Cloudflare, Hetzner, email delivery).
• The third-party services you explicitly connect, under the grants you approve.
• Your organisation's admins, who can see membership and manage the org's resources.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and service data while your account is active. Org admins can remove members and archive projects. To delete your account or export your data, email us at the address below.

Security

Sign-in uses short-lived email links, connector access uses scoped grants, and traffic is encrypted in transit. No method is perfect; tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The current version lives at this page with its effective date; material changes are announced in the Console.
